The Band
Victor Wahlström - Guitar and Vocals
Born to a French mother and Swedish father, Victor grew up in a bilingual environment that shaped his international perspective. He began guitar at age eight—exploring pop, folk, and rock—before discovering jazz and improvisation at fifteen. After studying jazz at Malmö Latin in Sweden, he moved to Paris in 2019 to attend IMEP under Peter Giron and Josiah Woodson, later moving to CMDL and graduating in June 2024. Following extended travels through Europe and Africa, he formed the modern jazz quartet EverGreen as its primary composer, vocalist and guitarist. Rooted in Nordic and North American traditions, his sound fuses melodic jazz storytelling with folk-inspired warmth.
Véra Campos‑Krasutskaya - Drums
Born in Paris Véra grew up immersed in music. Following an early classical foundation, she began playing the drums at age ten and fully committed to jazz in 2018 under the guidance of Laurent Bataille. In 2023, she entered both the PSPBB and the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood (CMDL), studying with prominent artists including André Charlier, Benoît Sourisse, Stéphane Guillaume, Franck Agulhon, and Gauthier Garrigue. That same year, she was selected to participate in the inaugural edition of Anne Paceo’s Woman Into Jazz initiative. Heavily influenced by master drummers Brian Blade, Bill Stewart, Mark Guiliana, and Peter Erskine, her playing balances precise instrumental command with a deeply expressive jazz vocabulary.
Louis Le Page - Piano & Keyboards
Louis is a 21-year-old French-English pianist who began his classical studies at age six before entering the Rouen Conservatory at eleven. He later transitioned into jazz and contemporary styles, earning three Diplomas in Musical Studies (DEM) through his work at the Rouen and Grand-Couronne conservatories. He co-founded the jazz-fusion trio Akinroots, served as a répétiteur for the Rouen Conservatory Choir, and has performed at major venues and festivals across Europe, including the Zénith de Nantes, Dour Festival, and Le Baiser Salé. Beyond his formal jazz training, he actively collaborates on pop, rap, and afro projects, bringing a versatile crossover sensibility informed by contemporary pop and musical theatre.
Rayan Besançon - Bass & Double Bass
Raised in Toulon, France, Rayan picked up the bass at age fifteen, initially playing rock, blues, and metal. Discovering icons like Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius redirected his focus toward jazz, fusion, and world music. He studied at the Toulon Conservatory under Nicolas Folmer, Serge Arèse, and Claude Basso, where he took up the double bass, before completing his advanced training in Paris at the CMDL under Linley Marthe, Benoît Sourisse, and André Charlier. After building his presence on the Provençal scene, he established himself in Paris as an active performer on both electric and upright bass. Drawing inspiration from Christian McBride, Ray Brown, and Scott LaFaro, his playing blends harmonic jazz freedom with a driving funk and soul groove.
